History

City and County Refrigeration was originally started by John Brown in 1987, boasting a large knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning it didn’t take long for City and County to become a well-established company boasting MOD contracts and prestigious hotels such as the Ritz and the Dorchester hotel in London. City and County refrigeration dealt with all aspects of refrigeration including ice machines, air conditioning, and dairy farm milk tanks.

Not only was City and County becoming the go-to company to get your fridge repaired but John also fought to improve local services in Oxfordshire, especially for the children.

After many years in business, things came to an abrupt end in March of 1996 when John sadly passed away. City and County refrigeration limited slowly disappeared from there. Nowadays Johns second eldest grandson who has had a passion for refrigeration for many years has breathed new life into the family name and brought back a vital part of the refrigeration industry.

At the age of 15, Dan started a modern apprenticeship in Refrigeration and Air conditioning and has worked for many national large companies and small family ones too, and has developed a strong knowledge of all aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning.
